Detailed Course Description

Sony Artisan and international award winning, master photographer has helped thousands of photographers around the world. He has learned much during his impressive 20 year career, and wants to pass on his trade secrets. He is constantly developing and adding to his step by step, revolutionary techniques, covering all aspects of photography- composition, posing, lighting and post processing. This multi-day, hands on workshop is designed to give attendees ample time to work on their craft while enjoying the beautiful, and quintessential California coastline of Solana Beach. This is a unique and comprehensive workshop designed to cover almost all aspects of portraiture from capture to print. The perfect opportunity to learn much from a world renowned photographer and educator. This is a small intimate workshohp of only 8 photographers for maximum teaching environment. Day 1

5pm Sunset shoot- surfers as Solana Beach

8pm Meet and greet dinner- authentic Mexican food at

La Especial Norte 

Day 2

Portrait shoot with models around Solana Beach in a variety of shooting locations, i.e. urban, beach, night, pool. Actual sessions TBA. 4-6 hours

Dinner and Q and A

Day 3

Scott will edit a few images start to finish and demonstrate his post processing techniques. 

Students to edit their own images- Laptop required with Lightroom and Photoshop.
